Veronza Bowers is an amazing spirit who was set to be released
in 2004. The warden and parole commission said
he's was good to go, get him out of here but the U.S.
Attorney General (Gonzales) stepped in and stopped it. He's
been illegally detained since.
The Collective Press asks you to send a postcard
to Veronza. Recently, he was moved from Coleman, FL to
Bennettsville, SC without anyone's knowledge. His
lawyers were preparing to file an appeal in Ocala.
People are working on getting him back here. All we ask of you is to send a quick postcard to Veronza
himself to let him know that we support him and are
keeping an eye on his well being. Through this simple
action, the prison system will also see our support.
It can be simple, short, and sweet.
