Issue #10 11/2005

What a beautiful time we are living in.
wars, hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, pestilence, anarchy, terror,
overwelming hatred for one other, kids shooting up schools,
guitar players getting shot on stage, planes crashing into buildings.

There are a couple of ways to solve all of these problems in the world.
I see active Americans everywhere taking charge and fixing thingsthis
is how they are doing it:
Go out and drink yourself into a drunken stupor every night,
get high everyday, dedicate your life to video games,
mindlessly stare at your TELEVISION screen forever,
let your dick do the thinking for you,
fornicate with as many partners as possible,
shit out some kids to neglect, get married,
go screw someone you work with because your
just "not happy" with the relationship you are in now,
get divorced, crank up the air conditioning,
crank up the apathy, crank up the musak,
it's not your job to help people, let someone else do it,
if someone has negative things to say
and it threatens your comfort zone
then they're not worth listening to,
mock and ridicule anyone that thinks differently,
where do I stick my credit card at, buy! buy! spend!,
sign up for as many credit cards as you can,
get yourself into debt as soon as possible,
get college loans and drop out,
spend $10 to see a movie they already made at the movie theater,
plan your family vacation for Disney World
and stand in line in the heat all day long
with nothing to say to your family other then "Fast Pass",
make yourself so busy that you have no time
for your family and friends,
get as many bills as possible,
buy that expensive car you need it,
attach yourself to as many material possessions as possible,
go get that cute little butterfly tattoo on your ankle to show everyone —
I'm sure it has a really deep meaning behind it,
be as self indulgent and selfish as possible it's your life,
be hopeless never face negative issues in your life,
you tried so hard and got so far
but in the end it really doesn't matter
so crank up the Linkin Park and cry yourself to sleep,
laugh at all of this and take none of it to heart,
I think were really making big things happen this way,
lets keep up the good work.
