"Holding a Breath"
The “all you can eat” is an ally of population reduction,
Big signs with bright lights advertising suicide machines,
Pain and early death in life is readily deserved for immeasurable waste,
World abilities are minuscule to God,
Our eventual existence out of time given as hints in vague memory,
I see American currency covered in Africa’s lesions,
A barrage of fear opens the window for an ambiguous suggestion of safety,
Attempting to cruise Middletown U.S.A as a drunkard,
Gathering the acceptance of my peers,
Sumerians, I thank you,
The lesions’ cure is an inadvertent promoter of increased casual sex,
The spreading of a new tyrant,
Amazing that worldwide genocide still appears as a distant doom,
The knife has broken the skin,
Bored explorers smoking the gauntlet of fear seeking a challenge.
